Is the wheelchair fully assembled upon arrival? Your wheelchair arrives nearly fully assembled; you'll just need to attach a few remaining parts.
Can I take my wheelchair on an airplane or cruise? Absolutely. The 12AH lithium-ion battery is compliant with most major airlines and cruise lines' travel battery regulations. However, we recommend confirming with your specific airline or cruise line before traveling.
What if my battery runs out of charge? Can I push the chair manually? Yes, the 6011 can operate as a manual wheelchair. Turn off the power, disengage the brake by pulling the levers to the unlocked position, and you can push it manually.
Can I silence the beeping sound when reversing? Yes, to mute the reversing beep, press the (+) key on the controller until you reach the top speed. Hold the button down until you see an amber light in the middle of the display, then quickly press the horn button. The beeping will stop. Repeat these steps to restore the sound.
Can I raise the armrests? No, the armrests are not adjustable.
How do I charge the battery? The lithium-ion battery can be charged through the joystick controller. Charging time is 6-8 hours for an empty battery. If the battery has some charge, it will take less time. When fully charged, unplug the charger from the battery and the power outlet.
